Service Description

Understanding psychosocial and cognitive conditions is a key component to the provision of activity services in care communities. Building a strong foundation utilizing a holistic approach to care creates safe environments, personalizes activity planning, improves communication, enhances program effectiveness, and serves a diverse population of clients. This course intends to provide a framework of knowledge for activity professionals with minimal to no knowledge of mental health and other cognitive factors that impact wellbeing.
