MEPAP - Bridge to ADC Course January 2026

Accepted by CMS since 1987, NCCAP’s Modular Education Program for Activity Professionals (MEPAP) is the required curriculum for NCCAP Certification. The Bridge to ADC course is for students who have taken the APC course and are preparing for certification as an Activity Director.

What is this course about?
Accepted by CMS since 1987, NCCAP’s Modular Education Program for Activity Professionals (MEPAP) is the required curriculum for NCCAP Certification. The MEPAP is infused with the person-centered principles of the Pioneer Network as well as the Alzheimer's Association Dementia Care Practice Recommendations.
The Bridge to ADC Course is for students who have completed the MEPAP - APC training and are seeking to become Activity Directors.
What are the topics covered?
The MEPAP - Bridge to ADC covers the leadership and management skills needed to lead and develop quality activity departments in a long-term care setting. By the end of this course, participants will be able to demonstrate skills in planning, organizing, staffing, and controlling.
