The Essentials of Veteran-Centered Care Seminar is designed to equip caregivers and professionals with the knowledge and skills to support Veterans in Healthcare Settings. Topics include military culture, trauma-informed care, communication strategies, and programming essentials. This course is designed for direct care providers such as nursing assistants and activity professionals. Those who complete this course are eligible for certification as a Certified Veteran Caregiver Specialist (CVCS) through Valor Training and Education.
